Add more life to your days
Hospice provides a coordinated program of palliative care to terminally ill patients, and supportive services to patients, their families and significant others, in both home and facility settings, through a physician-directed plan of care. Specialized services include medical, nursing, home health aide, social services, spiritual care, bereavement services, volunteer services, and other appropriate counseling services.
The hospice philosophy of care provides support for persons in the last phases of incurable illness so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice care seeks to enable patients to lead an alert, pain-free life and to manage symptoms so that their last days may be spent at home or in a home-like setting.
At Essential Hospice, our caregivers are available seven days a week and our medical team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Testimonials
“A big thanks and hugs from our hearts for you and your great family. You made all of our lives easier her last couple of months. She passed with peace because she was taken care of with such loving and caring ways. From always answering my calls with such caring ways to the nurses, preacher, social worker, and Regina. Regina was great with her every day and cared for her as if she was her mom.”
“Words cannot express our appreciation for everything that you have done for our loved one. God is good! He guided us to you, I’m certain.”
“I would like to thank the entire staff of Essential Hospice for all you did for Mother, but for us as a family. Your comfort and compassion as we traveled the road of hospice care for our loved one was both comforting and extraordinary. God bless all of you as you help those who are in hospice care and their families.”
“I know you have a tough job and probably a thankless one at times, but I’d like your team to know that I very much appreciate the care Grandma received in her final days, as well as the support you provided me. Every bit of kindness makes a world of difference so thank you for all you do.”
